What is BayouEdge Screens?
BayouEdge Screens is digital signage for Houston-area businesses: a dashboard that controls what plays on your in-store TVs. You pair a TV with a short code, upload images or video, set a schedule, and it plays — including a day-of-week or time-of-day rotation and an instant emergency broadcast — without anyone touching the TV itself.

If a neighboring business wants its ad on your TVs, you can run it for them from the same dashboard. You set the terms and the price with them yourself.
- Add the advertiser and invite them. They get their own portal and never see your playlists, your team, or other advertisers.
- They upload their ads and pick the screens, dates, and hours they bought.
- You approve every ad before it plays. Any change they make comes back to you for approval again.
- Your TVs mix approved ads in between your own content, only on those screens, dates, and hours. Both of you see proof of play: how many times each ad ran, on which screen, on which day.

Common questions about BayouEdge Screens
What TVs does BayouEdge Screens work with?
A Fire TV Stick, an Android TV box, or a smart TV whose built-in browser is Chrome 61+ or Safari 11+ — most TVs from roughly 2018 on. Not sure what your TV has? A Fire TV Stick always works and plugs into any HDMI port.
What happens if the internet goes out?
The screen keeps playing its last downloaded schedule. It reconnects and catches up automatically once the connection is back — no blank screen, no reboot needed.
What file types can I upload?
Common image formats (JPG, PNG) and MP4 video. Images are checked and re-encoded for TVs; video plays as uploaded, so export it as MP4 (H.264) for the most reliable playback.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14-day free trial on any plan, no setup call required to start.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There is no long-term contract. Cancel from your account settings and your screens keep playing through the end of the billing period already paid for.
What is an emergency broadcast?
A message you can push to one screen, a location, or every screen within a minute — a closure notice, a safety alert, a same-day sale — that overrides the normal schedule until you end it.
How do I get help if something goes wrong?

Can I sell ad space on my screens to other businesses?
Yes. Add the advertiser and invite them to their own portal, where they upload their ads and choose the screens, dates and hours they bought from you. You approve every ad before it plays, your TVs mix approved ads in between your own content on just those screens, dates and hours, and both of you see proof of play — how many times each ad ran, where, and on which day. Pricing and payment are between you and the advertiser.
Can I design my own ads without design software?
Yes. Pick from 10 templates or start blank, in landscape or portrait, then change the words, colors and photos — no design software needed. It saves as a full-size image straight to your media library, ready to schedule. It works the same way for your advertisers in their own portal.
Can developers or other tools connect to it?
Yes — a documented API and an MCP server for AI assistants are both available. See the developer docs linked from your account for tokens and endpoints.
